Her Journey and Her Story of Becoming a Founder

“My journey as an educator began with a deep love for storytelling and an unshakable belief in the power of curiosity to transform young minds. Early in my teaching career, I noticed a significant gap in the way education was structured—traditional methods often left students disengaged and uninspired. I knew there had to be a better way to make learning meaningful and joyful.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a teacher, principal, and academic advisor, which allowed me to connect deeply with children, young adults, educators, and parents. These experiences gave me unique insights into the challenges faced by students and teachers alike. I came to realize that the real issue wasn’t just about grades or outcomes—it was about how learning was being delivered. Schools weren’t making learning joyful, and this was the gap I felt compelled to address.

As I continued my work, I developed and implemented learning modules, training programs, and hands-on, participatory teaching approaches. I saw how students came alive when encouraged to experiment, create, and explore concepts beyond their textbooks. Watching them engage with material on a deeper level was incredibly rewarding—it was learning in its truest form, far beyond just earning marks. This inspired me to train teachers and educators across schools and NGOs to adopt similar approaches, spreading the impact of experiential and participatory learning.

My work with under-resourced private and public schools, however, revealed an even greater challenge. I encountered rigid, rote-based teaching methods that left little room for creativity and excitement. These methods weren’t serving the students’ learning needs or inspiring them to reach their full potential. It became clear to me that the education system needed a bold and fundamental transformation.

Fueled by this conviction, I founded Educhange Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission to reimagine education.

At Educhange, we focus on creating an environment where children learn through their surroundings, arts, culture, stories, play, and hands-on activities. These methods are designed to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and nurture a lifelong love for learning.

I firmly believe that if children aren’t enjoying the process of learning, then we, as educators, must change the system. This belief drives everything I do. My vision is simple yet profound: to make education joyful, engaging, and transformative for every child. Through Educhange, I am committed to creating a future where learning is not just about academics but about unlocking each child’s potential to thrive holistically.”
