Narayana Group of Schools,
Teachers’ Appraisal Program (2023-2025)
In collaboration with the Narayana Group of Schools, Educhange Foundation’s Evaluation Core Team is running a comprehensive teacher mentoring and annual appraisal program across 36 schools in West Bengal. Launched in 2023, this initiative provides tailored professional development to educators teaching semi-urban students, with a focus on enhancing teaching quality and pedagogical practices.
Program Structure
Led by Educhange Foundation’s Core Evaluation Team, headed by our Founder, Manjir Ghosh, the program includes:

One-on-One Mentoring: Regular sessions to guide teachers through specific challenges.

Classroom Observations: Experts assess teaching methodologies and provide constructive feedback.

Annual Appraisal Sessions: Structured evaluations to ensure continuous professional growth.

Capacity Building Workshops: Training in innovative teaching methodologies, including art-integrated curriculum approaches as outlined in NEP 2020.
Impact & Goals
The program aims to create a robust pool of well-trained educators skilled in experiential learning and art-integrated education. By strengthening teaching practices and aligning them with NEP 2020, the initiative enhances student engagement, creativity, and holistic development. Through ongoing mentoring and evaluations, the Narayana Group of Schools and Saltlake Educhange Foundation are committed to uplifting teaching standards and improving educational outcomes for semi-urban students across West Bengal.
